Wolf Noise are a type of Noise in The World Ends With You and NEO: The World Ends with You. They are notable for their high mobility.
The World Ends with You[]
Strategy[]
In battle, Wolves on the bottom screen like to run around before attacking their foes. This can make them hard to hit with close-range attacks like Shockwave. They attack by jumping on Neku, then jumping off, doing damage. In comparison to Garage Wolf, Alterna Wolf and Grunge Wolf has a strong and faster-initiation jump-attack, distinguished by the naming of "Dominate" for Garage Wolf and "Subjugate" for the two others. Alterna Wolf and Grunge Wolf can initiate a lighting fast dashing attack, named Blazing Rush, that rockets them back and forth across the screen.
Use psychs that stop them or slow them down, like Splash Core, Entanglement, or Doomed Mobility. Force Rounds and other ranged attacks are also effective. Street Jam is also effective, as are any psychs that hit the entire screen or, at least, hit beyond the visible edge of the screen.
Bottom Zone[]
- Dominate/Subjugate: The Wolf Noise will attempt to jump onto Neku to inflict damage, while Garage Wolf's Dominate is mediocre in speed and damage, be aware that the Alterna Wolf and Grunge Wolf are much quicker in execution and will deal more damage with their Subjugate.
- Blazing Rush: A special skill given to Alterna Wolf and Grunge Wolf, Blazing Rush allows the Wolf Noise to dash across the screen multiple times to inflict damage to Neku, leaving a trail of small flames, hence its naming.
Top Zone[]
- Dominate/Subjugate: The Wolf Noise will attempt to jump onto Neku's partner to inflict damage, while Garage Wolf's Dominate is mediocre in speed and damage, be aware that the Alterna Wolf and Grunge Wolf are much quicker in execution and will deal more damage with their Subjugate.
- Blazing Rush: A special skill given to Alterna Wolf and Grunge Wolf, Blazing Rush allows the Wolf Noise to dash across the screen once to inflict damage to Neku's partner, leaving a trail of small flames, hence its naming. Due to its rapid speed, it is hard to hit the Noise while using this ability.

Strategy[]
