The Crocodilian Family is a type of custom Noise in The World Ends With You. They are notable for their slow pace, while having high-power jaws and self-healing capabilities. While not lethal at first, it can become one of the most potent enemies once angered.

Abilities[]
Passive Abilities[]
- Resting Time: While in this state, the noise is slow and will not attack aggressively, but has high defense and a passive healing.
- Hunting Time: When attacked repetitively, or when the time comes, the noise's eyes will change shades, losing its passive healing and defense, but becoming a dangerous predator.
- Amassed Body: Crocodilian noise, with its large body mass, has an impressive amount of health than normal Noise. This also makes it impervious to being lifted by Psychokinesis.
Active Abilities[]
- Tail Spin: The only attack the Crocodilian Noise will use while in Resting Time. When the player is behind the Noise, it will whip its tail in an attempt to inflict damage.
- Enhanced Tail Spin: In contrary to its normal Tail Spin, Enhanced Tail Spin is an utterly aggressive alternate. Used in Hunting Time, the Crocodilian Noise will spin around to whip its tail at Neku, only to end up facing the player. The player doesn't have to be behind the Noise in order to activate.
- Snap Jaw: When in "Hunting Time", the noise is capable of lunging at Neku or his partner and snapping it jaws upon them, inflict lots of damage.
Strategy[]
Crocodilian noise in battle tend to be very slow and defensive, sitting still and moving around slowly even if attacked. In the meanwhile though, they passively heal themself. Although they can attack, it does not inflict much damage aside from the small flinch it will cause upon the player/partner.
But be aware when their eyes change color as it represents the fact they are now threatened, therefore "active". When active, they lose their passive healing, but will start snapping at Neku or his partner with its strong jaws. Even if they are far away, while they walk slowly, they can lunge a mediocre distance quickly. Because they are immune to being knocked up and have high defensive capability, keep tabs on this noise on the battle field.
