Unbranded is not really a Brand, but rather a "leftovers" category: it includes all the items and pins that do not belong to any brand. They generally include:
- 'Tin Pin' pins.
- 'Yen' pins.
- Material pins for trading.
- The pins obtained at the start of the game.
- 'Noise' pins.
- Final Remix exclusive pins.
Unbranded items do not affect, and are not affected by, the brand popularity. This means they never get bonuses for being used in a popular area, but conversely they don't suffer from unpopularity penalties. Due to the fact that they have no brand, they are not affected by the brand limits within Pork City and can be used freely there.
Notable Pins[]
- To obtain Tin Pin Hellfire first complete Kariya's game, then go to the Stride to battle Yammer.
- Daruma and Sushi allow the use of Apport C and Stellar Flurry psychs much earlier than usual.
- Tin Pin Custom is the first Burst Rounds pin, given to the player on week 2 day 2.
- Tin Pin Sunscorch is the main game unbranded version of Flame Blast, available on week 2 day 6 by defeating Shooter and Yammer at Tin Pin Slammer at Tipsy Tose Hall/Stride. Drake is the postgame version.
- Anguis is the most powerful Nexus Ray pin with 999 ATK.
- Tin Pin Thrift, obtained by defeated Tenho at Tin Pin on week 2 day 5, is arguably the most powerful single pin in the game. Its Sacrifice effect, along with Resonance, are the only two psychs that boost ATK of any sort. It opens up a whole new line of threads and deck planning. See SOS for details.
Unbranded Pins[]
Note, many Unbranded pins were renumbered in Final Remix to accommodate 100,000 Yen being grouped with the rest of the Yen pins. If a pin has multiple Id numbers listed, the former is the number used prior to Final Remix, while the latter is used in Final Remix.
