The Udagawa Back Streets as it appears in The World Ends With You
The Udagawa Back Streets is a location in The World Ends with You and NEO: The World Ends with You. It is a particularly important location in both games, and the CAT mural is located here.
In the first game, it is connected to Shibu-Q Heads. The Wild Boar main store and the Cyco Records store are located here.
In NEO, it is connected to Tipsy Tose Hall. It has a Monocrow store, Cyco Records, and a restaurant called Udagawa Parfait.

This area was Neku Sakuraba's favorite location in all of Shibuya, and he would visit the CAT mural after school to admire it. One unfortunate day, however, Neku was shot and killed by Joshua while admiring the mural.
Sho Minamimoto's Taboo Noise refinery sigil is also located here. He works on it on Joshua, Day 4 and Joshua, Day 6.

The taboo sigil is burned up and destroyed upon Minamimoto's reincarnation, which is found by Neku on Beat, Day 5. He takes a picture of it with his phone showing that Sanae Hanekoma was there four days prior. Uzuki Yashiro (Berserk) and Koki Kariya (Berserk), the bosses of this day, are also fought here.

The "deaD"/"deaL" sign.
- On the day of Neku's death, a sign in Udagawa also read "deaD", foreshadowing his death. This was inexplicably changed in the Remix versions of the games, where it now reads "deaL". However, the developers of the Remix ports forgot to change it in the ending as well where it now reads "deaD" as in the original DS version, although they did fix an error in the DS version where another camera angle was inconsistent with the red posters. These posters have "ILL" on them, and illness is also associated with death.
- In real life, the graffiti on Udagawa's wall was scrubbed clean by city workers in 2021.
- The Udagawa wall in real life, is a well-known hotspot for tagging by local graffiti artists in Japan, in fact this was one of the very few places where graffiti can be found.
