Tetsuya Nomura

Tetsuya Nomura is the deputy Character Art Designer of The World Ends With You, as well as one of the main producers of the game. Gen Kobayashi has also made various art for the series, although his art has a somewhat different aesthetic. Both of them worked on NEO: The World Ends with You.

An employee of Square Enix since the early 1990s, Nomura is also one of the co-creators of the Kingdom Hearts series. He is also a character designer for the Final Fantasy series.

Trivia

• A common misconception is that the Vice Wizard of Slam is Nomura, when it is actually Takeshi Arakawa. Nomura is not one of the characters in the game.
• The TWEWY Promo Coat, TWEWY Promo Tee, TWEWY Promo Tote mention Nomura in their descriptions.
• Sho Minamimoto wears an outfit which Nomura owned while creating the game.
• Black Honey Chili Cookie was made a brand because Nomura is friends with its owner in real life.
• For NEO, he designed Rindo Kanade, Shoka Sakurane, Tanzo Kubo and Tsugumi Matsunae.
