I wanted to add the effects of the Gatito pin combinations but I didn't really know where to put them, I hope sticking them here is ok.

Special pin effects[]

Yeah, I think this is the right page to put the special pin effects. The Pin List format should remain very standard and easy to read, and therefore doesn't allow any special / unique comments. Even if we add a comment column there, it's no good if we need to explain the power of a combination of pins.

Mmoroz 08:52, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Hmm, but now that we created pages for individual psychs, maybe it is more appropriate to move the special effects into those pages, where possible? E.g., to Over the Top page, etc. The extra benefit is that if someone searches for over the top, they'd get to that page directly. Mmoroz 07:49, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
Yeah at this point, it seems like it might be better to have it there. There's also a quick description in the comment section of the pin list too. Eskia 02:26, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
Ugh, this page makes me want to throw up. We have psych pages, so put the special pin effects there. I deleted Nexus Ray because it's written in such a ridiculous tone. My writeup is better. The rest will go once I analyze them. GipFace 01:30, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Removed them due to all the gross misinformation. Use psych pages to cover their abilities instead. Come on, please do testing before you spew out bullshit. GipFace 04:53, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Reordering pins[]

Did anyone know you can do this with ANY pin, not just the Irregular Note ones? It's helpful if not being able to see the top part of the screen bothers you (of course, you still have to obscure some part of the screen, but it's still good to know).

PurpleSquerkle 23:10, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Pause the game and you can drag them around. Press select to reset positions. It is much easier to have Irregular Note hit if you do this. SCM 03:33, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Over the Top description[]

It says "It halves the time needed for pins to charge and slightly increases the damage of all pins." Does it actually help with boot time, reboot time, or both? Maybe it's better to make the explanation more precise?

Pin Limit[]

I had a weird message pop up on me that said that I had 200 pins in my stockpile and that I would have to discard pins in order to leave the pin menu... I don't know what it is, and I didn't write it down exactly, but I'll see if I can get it to happen again and then get back to you guys.--BeyondAShadow 01:33, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

There is a 200 pin limit in the stockpile. What you need to do is sell or master excess pins (There is enough room in the mastered pile for every type of pin.) SCM 03:36, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

Note that the Stockpile also counts pins in your decks, towards its 200 limit.
But a deck's mastered pins don't count towards the 99 limit. (You simply lose them if move them to the 99 pile.)
I'm not sure what happens if you fill over the 256 empty slots in the Stockpile though (I.e. before entering to discard some).

Premature Evolution[]

Is it currently known why some pins evolve before reaching Master level, seemingly at random? I had it happen to one Jump From Eden today... it evolved at level 1. If anyone knows why this happens, it should be put in the article.

Does it seem random? Looks like does it the same level for the same pin, to me.
I.e. I think they evolve at set level (which may or may not be the final level), but we don't have the data for that yet. Silktail 00:23, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Evolution[]

I have a question. I evolved several of my pins and they were mastered, but as I checked the pin it said it could still evolve. So why is it that it was mastered and I cannot evolve it anymore?

That is a static bit of information about that type of pin and doesn't reflect that actual pin's current status.
And yes, you can't evolve a pin after it has mastered. You have to get a new one to fill with PP. Silktail 00:34, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Images[]

Where did all the high quality 120x120 images of each pin in this wiki come from? 203.211.77.193 10:17, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Missing 5 pins[]

Lv 1-5 key pins are missing. That plus the player pin should cover every pin in the game.

These never appear in the game. They only show up on the lower screen as an event image. There are no official sprites of these.

Azuvala 22:26, June 25, 2011 (UTC)

im not sure how close the evolve list is to the iphone edition, but some things are different. like poision scorpion no.47 evolves by bpp into chaso no.58 not sdpp

Pin 131 - Croc Leisure[]

I have been unable to master this pin. It seems to evolve by all methods. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks in advance.

TOWP (talk) 18:18, July 26, 2014 (UTC)

Hi TOWP, according to its page Croc Leisure is mastered by a majority of SDPP. Don't bring it into any battles or mingle with it in your deck and see if it masters. If it doesn't, I'll do research into it, but it should. Hope I helped  Summon Rhyme (talk) 14:15, August 5, 2014 (UTC)

Neo: TWEWY pins[]

Is there any reference on how to make the Neo: TWEWY pin pages, the pin list, and/or how to differentiate them from the TWEWY ones?
