The main Shibuya Reapers in The Animation, with the exception of Coco.
The Shibuya Reapers are a group of Reapers who hail from Shibuya, and originally appeared in The World Ends with You. The distinction is only officially made in NEO: The World Ends with You, when Shinjuku Reapers are introduced.
Initially a large population of Reapers, most of the Shibuya Reapers were erased during the long Reapers' Game in The World Ends with You, particularly by Neku Sakuraba, Daisukenojo "Beat" Bito, Mitsuki Konishi and a lot of Taboo Noise. They became outnumbered by the Shinjuku Reapers who arrived in Shibuya after the events of A New Day, who use them for monitoring Players.
Characteristics[]
Shibuya Reapers have stylized black angular pinions protruding from their back. It can be observed that more experienced Shibuya Reapers have smaller, angular wings they have better control over - Beat during his short time as a Reaper in The World Ends with You had large rough-shaped wings, while the newest Officer Higashizawa had puny wings. High-ranking Officer Sho Minamimoto's wings were normally invisible, but he could grow six massive wings when transforming into his Noise form Leo Cantus.

Reaper wings have been depicted from being almost flightless to fully capable of flight across the series. The only instances of Reapers flying in The World Ends with You are Reaper Beat and Uzuki when fought as enemies, and they both only fly a short distance off the ground. Reapers can fly in The Animation: best shown in Turf and Rhyme and Beat, where Minamimoto is shown taking off into the air without any preparation.
