The Ruinbringers (ルーイン Ruin) are a team of Players in NEO: The World Ends with You.
Description[]
The Ruinbringers are the top team leading in the Reapers' Game, and are also the strongest, having powerful psych users in their roster. Their main advantage, though, is that they are in fact members of the Shinjuku Reapers and their leader is the Game Master, Shiba Miyakaze. Unlike former Reapers who rejoined the game as players, the Ruinbringers remain Reapers and retain their increased strength, Noise forms, and relationships within the Game. It is therefore easy for them to defeat enemies and for the Game Master to manipulate the game such that they always win.
Their function is to hide the fact that the Shinjuku Reapers have corrupted the Shibuya Reaper's Game so far that the Composer has withdrawn his support, and the Game Master alone has no way to restore the winners to life if they were to make that request. By always winning, and always making their request "to play another round", they ensure that nobody else can win and request to be brought back to life. Shiba is the only member who actually supports this; Tsugumi Matsunae is under mental control, and Kaichi "Susukichi" Susuki is trying to find ways to secretly undermine Shiba or to redeem his former friend (although as he is also extremely competitive, he does enjoy playing the Reaper's Game over and over).
