Rindo (リンドウ Rindō) is a player, the de facto leader of the Wicked Twisters and the main protagonist of NEO: The World Ends with You. His group also consists of Fret, Nagi and Sho Minamimoto.

Design

Rindo is a high school student with sideswept blonde hair with a prominent curl on top, pale brown eyes, and pale skin. His hoodie is Jupiter of the Monkey brand, similar to Neku. His knee-length, half-sleeved jacket is black with white accents. He wears light blue ripped jeans rolled up to the mid-calf, and white sneakers. Rindo wears a black cloth facemask for unknown reasons.

Personality

Searching for info on his phone is second nature to him. He prefers to go with the flow, and although he doesn't go out of his way to interact with others, he won't turn them away if they come to him first. He has a cautious personality and tends to survey situations before acting, but won't hesitate to get involved if necessary.

Story

Background

Very little about Rindo's history is known, other than that he is a high school student and Fret is his classmate.

NEO: The World Ends with You

Rindo was thrust into the Reapers' Game without even realizing it.

Abilities

Rindo is shown to use a slashing fire psych and a laser-like psych. He also uses a slashing psych similar to Vortex Saber. He is capable of reading other's thoughts, like all other players.

• According to Tetsuya Nomura, his facemask was coincidental and not related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Rindo's voice actor (Paul Castro Jr) said he is a massive fan of the game and that voicing Rindo was "a dream come true."
