Story[]
NEO: The World Ends with You[]
Riko died in the Shinjuku Inversion three years before. Riko's cognitive energy came to Shibuya "alongside a certain someone's comings and goings". She cannot leave her new home, but also cannot disappear. Feeling pity on her, Shoka Sakurane gave her a role in the mission for Noisrevni (Week 2, Day 5). At Tipsy Tose Hall, Fret, Nagi Usui, and Daisukenojo "Beat" Bito had to face different directions while looking through each others' cameras to find a guide. Riko stands near the police station but is only visible from the eastern camera. When the three spot her, she disappears, leaving behind a letter P.
She is the focus of the sidequest "Get in the Spirit" on Come🡒🡐back (Week 3, Day 4), lingering on the roof of a Shibuya Hikarie building. Shoka explains that she's made up of resilient cognitive energy that drifted over from Shinjuku, and asks Nagi to Dive into Riko to erase the Noise possessing her. After Diving, Riko accepts that she needs to move on and leaves to be with her mother. Her ghost disappears.
