The World Ends With You
The World Ends With You

Brainwashed Shibuyans don the O-Pins.

The Red Skull pins, also known as O-Pins ("Outlet Pins"), are an important pin in the story of The World Ends with You. They are said to enhance Reaper battle performance, however, it is implied they have negative effects on Players as they are shown to slow down Neku Sakuraba. Megumi Kitaniji, however, has modified the O-Pins to effectively brainwash the citizens of Shibuya into thinking the same thought after they wear them for long enough: "To right the countless wrongs of our day, we shine this light of true redemption, that this place may become as paradise. What a wonderful world such would be..." During the course of the story, Kitaniji use his company, Gatito, and uses those working for the company such as Eiji Oji and Makoto Miki to distribute the pins among the populace.

Before editing power, value, limit, boot, or reboot, please make sure your pin is mastered. Also note that this data is for the US/EU version; there may be some differences with the Japanese version. "Damage@ATK=200" is calculated using the DS version's damage formula on Normal difficulty, with nothing to boost or reduce damage.

Comments This pin has no positive effects, and its only use is to wear it in order to promote the Gatito brand in the story, due to the fact that it is the only Gatito item the player will have at this time. The pin is also used for mass imprinting on Players, Reapers, and living humans alike. Known as the "O-pin" to Reapers, and presumed to increase power.

It is also possible to move Neku backwards using this pin whilst being plagued by Noise 10 (Bigbansprog)
