Synopsis[]
Having lost his memory due to a Noise attack, Rindo uses Replay to reveal that Kanon Tachibana has been infected with Plague Noise by Shiba Miyakaze and attempted to trick Fret into meeting her to infect him too. The Twisters use Dive to defeat the noise but the damage already done to Kanon is too great and she is erased, to Fret's despair.
Plot[]
The day begins with Rindo apparently being attacked by Tosai "Fret" Furesawa as Kanon Tachibana lies on the ground nearby, and immediately triggering a Replay even though he now has no memory of what happened to him. He finds several messages on his phone from Kanon about a new kind of noise that requires Players to split up, and finding a receipt gives him a dim recollection of a meeting at somedrinks which Fret did not attend because Kanon had sent him a message asking him to meet her. Replaying it, he tells the others that his memories are gone and they talk about having explored the city looking for information about the Noise, meeting up at regular intervals, and they mention several people they met.
By repeatedly Replaying, Rindo is able to re-assemble his memories of the day; Fret is unable to help him with his Remind ability, because his changes made in Replay alter the timeline to one that he would never have remembered. After helping several victims using the Dive ability, the Twisters learn that the noise can possess people, erasing their memories and making them paranoid, and then propagate to others nearby, leaving the original victim with Reverb. Kanon warned them to split up to prevent them passing the Noise onto each other or being attacked by their paranoid teammates.
When he is able to Replay to the start of the day, Rindo sees the attack from Fret in his vision, and realises that Kanon became infected by Noise and then sent the message to Fret to encourage him to meet her so he would be infected too. He warns Fret that he has come from the future and that it is critical he attends the meeting at somedrinks, and he does so, enabling Rindo to warn the Twisters about Kanon and decide on their course of action. They decide to go to meet Kanon anyway but to be prepared for a fight, and to leave Fret behind so that the previous events cannot recur.
When they meet Kanon, Nagi attempts to use Dive on her, but finds that she is as badly infected as Ayano was and they prepare to fight her directly when Fret arrives, saying that he has recieved a message from her asking him to erase her when they meet. If the Plague Noise is able to force her to send messages, it sending this message implies they should not do so. By using Remind, he is able to bring back enough of her personality for a Dive to be possible. The Twisters are able to remove the Noise via diving but Kanon is severely damaged in the process. She thanks Fret and the Twisters for allowing her to be herself again for a moment and then is erased.
The Twisters are left in shock, with Fret in serious distress, and Shoka believing that they have no chance at this point. Nagi believes that Shiba has been driven mad with rage and he deliberately infected Kanon directly. Beat suggests that the Shibuya Reapers still remain as potentially valuable allies. Rindo checks his phone, and fines that Swallow's account is still open, although she has not replied. Since there are now no other teams left, this implies that Swallow is a Reaper, something that strikes Rindo as an outlandish possibility.
In the afterpiece, Coco Atarashi obtains a reading from Kaie Ono who advises her to "obtain advice from the creator". Kaie recieves a message from an unknown person suggesting that they work together.

- Rindo appears to assume that Kanon Tachibana being erased means that the Variabeauties are erased too, but it is not clear why. The previous teams were erased by Shiba Miyakaze as a result of coming last in the game, whereas Kanon was erased by the Plague Noise infecting only her, which is seen not to have infected all of her team.
