Pyrokinesis is a negative psych found in several brands. Dragon Couture possesses three pins with this psych. It is activated by pressing on an empty area, then dragging the flame along a path. If there are no conflicting psychs in the pin deck which are activated by pressing on an empty space, the flame is able to remain stationary. The color of the flame varies among the pins. All Pyrokinesis pins are categorized under A class.
Pyrokinesis is an undesirable psych. Most of its pins are unavailable for the majority of the main game, and the psych itself is completely overshadowed by the Flame Blast psych.
Black Mars (set) vs. Flame BlastEdit
At 105% efficiency, Black Mars will deal slightly more damage than the best Flame Blast pin. While outclassed by Uranus, Jupiter, Mercury, and Venus in raw efficiency, Black Mars is still notable for its ability to stunlock an entire reduction's worth of Noise at once. Black Mars also possesses the same chance of inflicting HP Drain that Flame Blast does.
Flames Afar, Foes Aflame vs. Final Pyre, All Expired vs. Flame BlastEdit
Due to Pyrokinesis' low efficiency, FAFA does not deal much more damage per hit than FPAE. FPAE has taller flames and lasts more than twice as long. Unfortunately, the noise that drops FPAE does not appear until week 3, day 5, unless it is evolved from Fiery Spirit, Spirited Fire (Pin 155) via MPP starting at week 2, day 5. FAFA cannot be obtained until week 3, day 7 unless evolved from Fiery Spirit, Spirited Fire via SDPP starting at week 2, day 5. On the other hand, Tin Pin Sunscorch can be obtained on week 2, day 6. It is the weakest Flame Blast pin, but still deals more damage than FAFA and FPAE. Therefore, both Pyrokinesis pins are obsolete in the main game unless they are obtained earlier via a mingle shop or pin evolution. At least FAFA is able to evolve into the powerful Blue Blood Burns Blue.
