Honoka Kondo (近藤 帆乃香 Kondo Honoka) is a character in NEO: The World Ends with You. She is the sister of Tomoyuki Kondo, the girlfriend of Itsuki Kaneda and an old friend of Miki Saionji.
Appearance[]
Honoka has wavy shoulder-length dark-brown hair that has bangs hanging on the right side, green eyes and she seems to wear pink eyeshadow and lipstick.
She wears a pale pink beanie, a white shirt, a baggy light brown jacket, high-waisted jeans with shreds on her legs revealing fishnet stockings under them, and dark sneakers. She accessorizes with golden ring earrings and a golden necklace.
Personality[]
Although Honoka is a model, she wants to focus her life on studying how to become a dancer with Itsuki Kaneda as her teacher. She is considering studying at an overseas dance academy in America.

Background[]
Honoka rose to fame in junior high after being scouted at her brother's cafe. She is a model and an influencer on a fashion-oriented social media site known as Trendy, and has over a million followers, primarily consisting of teenage girls who envy her beauty and on-fleek fashion.
NEO: The World Ends with You[]
Honoka first appears in New Game (Week 2, Day 1) as part of the main riddle. Rindo Kanade must dress a mannequin like Honoka, but a thick crowd of high school girls mobbing her stops him and the Wicked Twisters from seeing her. Fret finds Kashiki dressed as a woman nearby, and uses his Remind power to remind the crowd that Kashiki is nearby. When they disperse, the Wicked Twisters get to see Honoka. Later that day, the player may do an optional sidequest called "Wallet Woes" where her boyfriend, Itsuki Kaneda, is introduced. He wants to buy a nice ring for her on her birthday, but he had his wallet taken by a man considering stealing it.
The sidequest "Love on the Brain" in CHECKMATE! (Week 2, Day 7) at Shibuya Stream is about her and Itsuki. A frustrated Honoka is annoyed at Itsuki because he forgot he asked her to study abroad with him, even calling him a big jerk. She wants to become a dancer with him, and after Fret uses Remind, Honoka mentions she passed a dancing audition and will be going to the same school as him. Itsuki excitedly leaves to practice dance, and Honoka chases after him since they planned to go shopping in Harajuku that day.

Itsuki Kaneda[]
Itsuki is Honoka's boyfriend. While she loves him deeply, his forgetfulness is a source of friction in their relationship - such as Itsuki forgetting he asked her to study with him in America, and seemingly dismissing her dreams. Itsuki hopes to be worth of Honoka by keeping up with Shibuya's trends.
Tomoyuki Kondo[]
Tomoyuki is Honoka's older brother. She was scouted at his crepe shop. Tomoyuki worries about Honoka working in the unstable modelling industry.
Miki Saionji[]
Miki is Honoka's old friend who hoped to become a model like her before having her attitude changed by Shiki Misaki's humility.

- The name Honoka means "sail" (帆) (ho), "this" (乃) (no) and "fragrance, fragrant" (香) (ka).
- Honoka's surname Kondo means "near, early, akin, tantamount" (近) (kon) and "wisteria" (藤) (to/do).
