Hide Takenouchi is a minor character in NEO: The World Ends with You. He is Eiru's manager who desperately wants him to get worldwide fame.

Appearance[]

Hide Takenouchi wears a white suit. While his face is featureless, he has short brown hair with a fringe parted in the middle and pale skin.

Story[]

NEO: The World Ends with You[]

Before the events of NEO, Hide Takenouchi worked at a large ad agency. He quit, finding it too impersonal, and applied to work as Eiru's manager to support talent directly.

The "Voice of an Angel" sidequest in Dearly❤beloveD (Week 3, Day 2) features Hide Takenouchi with Eiru and Eiji Oji. Takenouchi and Eiru confront Eiji over calling Eiru's voice "detestable", which Eiji has no memory of. Using Remind, they remember that the Prince compared Eiru's voice to a fine wine and called it "delectable", which Takenouchi misheard as "detestable". Takenouchi apologizes to the Prince and proposes afterwards they work together in a project.
