Energy Rounds, not to be confused with Burst Rounds or Force Rounds, is a psych in The World Ends with You and NEO: The World Ends with You.
The World Ends with You[]

Hounder Magnum in action
It is a negative psych almost exclusive to the Natural Puppy brand. Bullets are fired by slashing across Neku, the characteristics of these bullets differing from pin to pin. Energy Rounds pins are categorized under A class.
Analysis[]
This psych is common during the early stages of the midgame, and displays a high pin ATK in the info box to attract players. Unfortunately, it becomes outclassed rapidly due to most pins having a abysmal 20% efficiency rating. Its strength of hitting many enemies at once becomes weak later on because the most powerful Noise are very large (thus appearing solo) or are bosses.
Sparkle Beam[]
This pin is the functional equivalent of Force Rounds' Lolita Bat. It has a 40% efficiency rating, though this isn't as useful as it first seems because of its great knockback.
Lil' Terror Bazooka[]
This pin is the functional equivalent of Force Rounds' Skull Rabbit. It has a 30% efficiency rating.
Burst bullets (Hounder Magnum/Angel Magnum)[]
These pins will automatically expend three uses per slash.
Downhill Buffalo[]
Like many pins added in Final Remix, this pin uses a modified version of the psych, in this case releasing columns of flame instead of bullets, which deal higher damage output.
Force Rounds (25%) vs. Energy Rounds[]
Energy Rounds feature multi-shot, while Force Rounds only has a single shot per use. However, Force Rounds has slightly higher efficiency and fires slightly faster. Therefore, Force Rounds is recommended over Energy Rounds. Innocence Beam is virtually a faux Energy Rounds pin, so it is used if the player feels like having two "Energy Rounds" pins in the same deck.

NEO: The World Ends with You[]
Energy Rounds return as a psych, again mainly exclusive to Natural Puppy, although there are some in Croaky Panic.
