So many articles

The reason I put so many articles into the possible deletion category is because they are short and they add nothing at the moment to the wiki. Some of the pages were/are redirects, and some of them just were links, and that was it. These pages need to be deleted unless they are improved.

Also, since some of the pages were just a {{stub}}, I put the {{delete}} in there too because that way people can look at the page a page and see what pages currently have not been created so far.

Just trying to keep this wiki running smoothly.

I agree with all the deletions you suggest, except these:

  • many users might be searching for those terms, and all the information about them is now located in the PP page; if we remove BPP, etc, searching for definitions of those terms would be next to impossible due to the number of times BPP is mentioned all over the wiki
  • a well-intentioned editor might think this wiki has no info about, say BPP, create a new page BPP, and then proceed to type in there what's already written in the [PP]; the fact that BPP already exists would stop him
  • Interrupt : I think this page would be useful even as a skeleton; I tried to fill it with a bit of info now
  • Timeline : well, if no one can fill it with anything, we can delete I guess; but it would be very useful with even just a little bit of info

While I can see Mmoroz's point, I would disagree on the issue of the separate PP pages; I never even understood the concept of BPP, MPP, and SDPP until I came to this Wiki, and so I believe first-timers would be interested in looking for the PP page before a particular type of PP.
However, I do think it's a bit hasty to label all the stub articles as deletion... although, I suppose that is what catches attention.
For the sake of stream-lining, I would suggest throw all SOS ability pages into a single page called 'SOS Status' or some such thing, and throw puck abilities to the puck page.
And a final point, anyone figured out yet what the freak Sync does? Shint 02:46, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Mmoroz, what I was trying to do was to get people to come and look at the pages that are candidates for deletion, and hopefully improve them. The redirects are worthless ATM basically because we don't have hundreds of thousands of people all searching for BPP. Yes, we should put up a redirect page someday, but now is just not the time.
As for the thing about the editor making a new page, we have to make sure that all of the links work and connect to the correct page/spot on the page before we go any further. We are trying to make this huge wiki, and a red link will do 1 of two things: deter the person from readin further, or get them to help out. If they help out, great. If the page already exists elsewhere, then we redirect all links to the correct spot and then put it up for possible deletion. The red links are to help editors find out what is needed on the wiki.

Hope I'm not intruding on this, but according the Black Cat Atlas, Vol 4 & 3 in the game... "Did you know a better sync rate will extend the time the light puck stays in play?..." and " A high sync rate or the "Hold That Puck" ability mkes your return speed rating more lenient in addition to keeping the puck in play longer. So from those, I'm guessing it's something to do with the light puck? Eskia 04:31, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Sorry, I had no idea whether or not the individual PP pages would be okay to delete =/
My faulttt. Also I didn't know that redirects weren't okay to use, because I thought that if for example, someone typed "Shiki Misaki" into the search and nothing came up, it'd be really confusing for them and they might think that it wouldn't exist!! Skorch 04:40, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
On the subject of redirects, I don't see why they are NOT okay. The (I'm assuming) original wikipedia has them everywhere; they're beneficial if people that come here know a term by a different name. Shint 04:49, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
I am in favor of leaving a lot of redirects. For exactly the reason Skorch mentions: if I type Shiki Misaki, I want to be redirected to Shiki, instead of being shown results of a (very confusing ) search. I personally have spent many dozens of hours playing with this wiki, and still I often think the article isn't there, when it's just called something else. So why not make things easier for readers and editors, and create an redirect article for many commonly variations of names/concepts/terms? Yes, it means more pages, but I think there's no harm in that.
Of course, there's a limit to everything. For example, if a page is badly named, delete it instead of redirecting. Mmoroz 06:25, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Two pages

Can someone please delete (... links removed to avoid orphaned pages warning)? Thanks! Also, there are a lot of pages that need to be deleted, can someone do that too?

Thank you for reverting the vandalism. Pages deleted. A new page talking about vandalism is here: Project:Vandalism.

ramen don

I edited Ken Doi, but Ramen don needs to be deleted, no point if it is the shop list for it to get it's own page. CharonDragon 05:54, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Deleted pages

I deleted most of the pages in this category, and removed delete tag from a few others (because someone has already edited them). So the category is empty now. Mmoroz 06:10, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Classic Half-boots

I made the error of trying to copy a page to rename it. So I have marked Classic Half-boots for deletion so we can instead move Classic Half-Boots and its history. (Alternatively you could move the latter over the former page.) Silktail 02:54, 17 August 2008 (UTC)

'Shiki' images

Someone please delete the two pornographic images uploaded by Spamezzere[1], please and thank you!~ Skorch 18:41, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
