- "Oh, you've heard of us? Rock on. We're still totally indie. But one day, we're gonna start a rock revolution, just wait an--Nngh... CAWFF! CAWFF!"
- — 777 to Shiki
777, pronounced "Triple Seven" in the English version and "Three-Seven" (スリーセブン Surī Sebun) in the Japanese version, is the lead singer of Def Märch, a rock band in Shibuya that also includes the reapers BJ and Tenho, along with Futoshi, the tech. He enjoys being able to exist both in the Underground and in the Realground so that he can perform concerts. On occasion, Beat calls him Porcupine.
Appearance[]
He is a harrier reaper and thus wears the harrier Reaper uniform, he wears a black hoodie with white markings, but his hoodie is unzipped and he does not wear the hood. Underneath his hoodie he wears a small purple shirt. His pants are green in color and are ripped and he has chains tied to his black belt. He has bleached-blonde gelled spiked hair and fair-skin.
He wears a choker with a skull on it. It is the only item of his left after his erasure.
Personality[]
777 falls into a leadership position within his band. With bandmates he is most often relaxed. This is also how he generally interacts with Players. He usually prefers to play fair and gives Players large rewards for helping him. However, he often doesn't give them a choice in the first place. But when it comes to erasing players, he can still act threatening. 777 will ignore any previous deeds a Player has done for him if he has the opportunity to erase them.
If something goes wrong or he needs to take charge, his anger will begin to become more apparent. This often leads to yelling at others. 777 is very controlling of the band, and rarely lets the other members step into the spotlight.
Story[]
The World Ends with You[]
Week 1[]
777 makes an appearance on the third day. He acts cool in front of Neku and Shiki, but when Futoshi comes in he acts more superiorly towards him. Futoshi's negativity towards 777 due to Futoshi's desire to be on the stage himself. Neku noticed that he was a Reaper due to the fact that 777 was aware of Players, a fact that Shiki missed.
Week 2[]
On the fourth day, 777 is found with his bandmates, Tenho and BJ, trying to find the band's winged microphone and forcibly enlists the help of Neku and Joshua. On the seventh day, it is revealed that they did not find the microphone but instead found a megaphone (previously belonging to Sho Minamimoto) which could serve the same purpose.
Week 3[]
On the second day, 777 encounters Neku and Beat and attacks them for the bounty over their erasure. After failing, he tells them to erase him to keep his honor of being a Reaper, but they refuse to which 777 is overjoyed. They then ask if 777 saw Mitsuki Konishi entering the concert area; he replies that he did not see anyone enter but checks anyway, only to be erased, as following a flash of light only his choker is found on the stage.
After the events of the main story, he is shown to be alive once again in The Animation.
This Day Ends with You![]
In This Day Ends with You!, 777 can be battled in Tin Pin Slammer, along with BJ and Tenho. He can only be found at Towa Records after having spoken to Rhyme.

Non-Canon Appearances[]
In Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, 777 is an opponent the player faces in Flick Rush in the Tin Pin Tournament along with BJ, Tenho, and Sho Minamimoto.
Trivia[]
- 777's name may be a reference to there being three weeks in the game, with 7 days in each week.
- Throughout the game, Neku can scan a girl's thoughts and hear about her plans to stalk 777 to find out where he lives. When she eventually does, he disappears when she looks away.
- In the game, 777 and the rest of Def Märch are never stated to be revived following the events of the main story. However, they were shown to be alive once again in The Animation. The same applies to Sota and Nao.
